Ben Richards is a Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, and has 11 years of professional experience working in academia and public policy. He is interested in educational and social policy, particularly educational inequalities by socioeconomic, ethnic, and language groups. Ben has worked in interdisciplinary contexts, including in education and social policy departments and faculties, and for a public policy thinktank. He is author and co-author of more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and policy reports, has taught courses focusing on public policy, social research methods, and social and educational inequalities, and has supervised both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
